BikeNWA

Founded in 1999 as the Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks, BikeNWA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to create a more bike-friendly community by advocating for safe, connected bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure; designing programs and events that foster a thriving, fun cycling culture; and ensuring that diverse constituencies across lines of ethnic backgrounds, gender, income, race, and age have a voice in the development of new policies and infrastructure. BikeNWA is primarily focused on Benton and Washington counties through partnerships with civic, transportation, recreational, education, social, health, environmental, business, development, and community organizations.

Their mission is to transform Northwest Arkansas into a fun and welcoming place to ride bicycles for both recreation and transportation by creating a vibrant cycling community and a connected and safe network of bicycle infrastructure.
