Yeyo's Mexican Grill


The story of Yeyo’s began simultaneously in Michoacán, Mexico and California’s beautiful San Joaquin Valley in the early 80’s. Rafael Rios’ father was a seasonal farm worker. His stories would describe the early mornings with family and friends, gathering to prepare delicious food. Those stories were very interesting and always kept Rafael going.

During his father’s absence, Rafael took every opportunity to learn and master traditional cooking techniques used by his mother and grandmother, and found the road to the unmistakable culinary identity that is worth sharing.

In 1997, his desire to make a difference in the life’s of others led to his enlistment in the U.S Army where he honorably served for 15 years, including Operation Enduring Freedom. It is that same desire to serve and make a difference that enables them to genuinely offer you the best of them today. Yeyo’s Mexican Grill honors “Don Yeyo” with the mission of transporting you to the Bohemian streets of old Mexico, sharing their tradition with great pride and using the freshest produce grown locally at the Rios Family Farm.
